Regent Street, Grace Bay, ProvidencialesSituated directly on world-famous Grace Bay Beach, the Regent Grand is an all-suite resort that offers accommodations ranging from one-bedroom studios with a pool view to three-bedroom oceanfront suites in an elegant setting.
Whether you prefer a relaxed holiday with plenty of sunbathing by the pool, or you’re the type who likes to stay active even while on vacation, the amenities at this resort can accommodate both types of travelers. Highlights include a heated infinity-edge pool and two Jacuzzis, sun loungers and umbrellas, a fitness center, a lighted tennis court, and access to bicycles—a fun way to explore all Grace Bay has to offer.
As for the suites themselves, nearly all (except for the studio suites) come with a washer and dryer, as well as a cooktop and oven.
While the resort doesn’t have an on-site restaurant, with its ideal location on the Grace Bay strip nearly everything guests need is within walking distance. That includes a variety of restaurants, as well as activities, a grocery store, and shops at the Regent Village.
Amenities and Attractions
As far as activities go, you can step outside the resort and be on the beach in seconds. While Grace Bay Beach is popular for a reason, making it the most visited beach in the Turks and Caicos, the beach is also three miles long and rarely attracts large crowds. No matter how busy the beach might be, it’s always possible to find a quiet spot away from others if you’re in search of privacy.
With complimentary sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels, you can easily spend hours on the beach if you’ve come for relaxation. But if you’re up for an adventure, there are a variety of activities to choose from, both indoor and outdoor, a short drive away.
For visitors interested in water sports, there are multiple scuba diving companies within walking distance from the resort, where you can book a charter. Several boat charter companies operate from Turtle Cove Marina a 10-minute drive away, or from their own private docks. But others will pull right up to the beach not far from the resort.
For snorkeling right off the beach, The Bight Reef (Coral Gardens) is about a 5-minute drive from Grace Bay. Here, you can wade into the water and be snorkeling a coral reef in seconds. Coral Gardens consists of one main ridge of coral that extends about 350 feet from the beach. Green turtles and hawksbill turtles are common sightings both near the reef and in the nearby seagrass bed, where they often feed. The best times to catch a glimpse of the turtles are early in the morning and late in the afternoon before sunset.
Other activities a short drive from this property include golfing at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club and horseback riding on the beach with Provo Ponies, both of which are about a 5-minute drive from the resort. Local yoga studio KYN is also a 10-minute walk away.
