Castaways offers a fun island vibe, and is a great place to grab food or drinks.

Situated right off the main Grace Bay strip, Castaways is one of the newest restaurants to open on Providenciales, joining the island’s culinary and social scene in 2022.

Set under a canopy of coconut palms, the outdoor restaurant offers a combination of island dishes and international fare in a comfortably casual setting.

What’s on the Menu

Castaways offers an array of dishes to accommodate a range of preferences, but with a focus on local cuisine. If you want a taste of the Turks and Caicos, you can order conch prepared in a variety of different ways, from conch salad to cracked (fried) conch and more. When lobster is in season (from August to March), you can also order lobster bisque, grilled lobster, or even fried lobster bites.

In addition to local conch and lobster, the restaurant has a dedicated seafood menu that includes snapper and other local fish prepared blacked, grilled, or fried.

If seafood isn’t for you, you’ll find many other options, including jerk chicken, pork belly, burgers, wraps, vegetarian options, and pasta dishes. If you like to end your meal on a sweet note, you’ll find delicious options on the dessert menu that include rum cake, and a coconut flan and cassava cake duo. There is also a kids menu for younger guests who prefer the simplicity of fish fingers and fries, or pasta bolognese.

The drinks menu at Castaways is as varied as the food, with an extensive selection of wines, beers, cocktails (frozen or on the rocks), soft drinks, and juices. The restaurant usually has special deals on beers, wines, and other drinks during the week. If you’re not planning a full sit-down meal, you can grab a drink from the bar, which has been converted from a boat hull.

Live Entertainment

If you’re a fan of live music, you should plan your visit to Castaways for the weekend. From Friday to Monday, the restaurant has live music from local artists to set the mood for your meal. Not hungry, but feel like enjoying some live entertainment? Come for a drink at the bar, and enjoy the show.
