The Chefs and Cuisine of Le Bouchon Village
Le Bouchon is owned and operated by Chef Pierrik Marziou and his family. Originally from France, Chef Pierrik has lived in the Turks and Caicos for more than 20 years, during which he’s grown a large and loyal following. The previous owner and head chef of the well-known Caicos Café, he is often credited with introducing fine dining to the Turks and Caicos. At Le Bouchon, customers will often find Julien, Chef Pierrik’s son, offering recommendations and ensuring that each customer feels at home.
Julien also owns Le Comptoir Français, a cozy deli located just across the street from Le Bouchon selling fine wines, fresh Italian pasta, cigars, and more. Le Comptoir Francais also offers a full-service takeaway deli serving pastries, bread, and deli sandwiches that have made the establishment a popular lunchtime spot for locals.
Le Bouchon’s location in the heart of central Grace Bay puts it within walking distance of many of the island’s hotels and shopping plazas. Onsite parking is also available, and for those without transportation of their own, a taxi ride can be arranged to and from Le Bouchon.
At Le Bouchon, you’ll dine on the sidewalk of the Regent Village shaded by umbrellas and surrounded by lush palm trees. The atmosphere here is especially enjoyable during the evening when the candles are lit, tiki torches burn bright, and fairy lights light up the space, providing a most relaxing setting for an authentic, flavorful French meal. A captivating ambience coupled with excellent customer service and exquisite food makes Le Bouchon an ideal restaurant option for travelers. As a testament to the quality of its food and service, Le Bouchon was given a Travellers’ Choice award by Tripadvisor in 2021.
