Grace Bay Suites, a 24 room hotel in the Turks and Caicos.
Travelers looking for affordable accommodation without compromising on location will find everything they’re looking for at a small boutique hotel centrally located in Grace Bay aptly named Grace Bay Suites.
Fully renovated in 2020, Grace Bay Suites offers 24 guest rooms, all of which boast a balcony with a view of the pool, or, for the ground-level rooms, a lanai with a pool view. But aside from this feature that is often highlighted by the hotel’s guests, the biggest attraction for Grace Bay Suites is undoubtedly its sublime location. Situated next door to the Saltmills Plaza, the hotel is within a short walking distance to the beach. Guests can step outside their room and arrive on the sands of Grace Bay Beach in less than five minutes.
The rooms at Grace Bay Suites are spacious, clean, and modern. And in addition to having either a private balcony or lanai with seating, each room comes with a safe, mini fridge, hair dryers, and toiletries that include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Complimentary coffee and tea is also included. Outside, guests can lounge poolside under umbrellas with complimentary beach towels. Chairs and umbrellas are also provided on Grace Bay Beach.
Other amenities at Grace Bay Suites include free Wi-Fi across the entire property, daily maid service, complimentary parking, an ice machine in the front office, and complimentary kayak rentals—perfect for a calm day on Grace Bay when the sea is like glass.
The hotel also offers concierge services to help guests plan their itineraries for their stay in Turks and Caicos, whether they want to book a boat excursion, restaurant reservations, or a day trip to one of the sister islands.
As far as getting around goes, the location makes it easy to get by without a rental car. Grace Bay Suites is in the center of the Grace Bay strip, so everything visitors might need are within walking distance, including restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. But if guests do wish to travel farther outside of the Grace Bay area, the hotel’s concierge can arrange a taxi. And Grace Bay Car Rentals is a five-minute walk away, so if you prefer to have more mobility during your stay, you can simply walk down the street to pick up a rental car.
But in terms of dining out, there are plenty of restaurants close to the hotel, so every meal is within walking distance. Although there’s no on-site restaurant, the hotel has partnered with local restaurant Shay Cafe, which offers a full breakfast and lunch menu. Guests are gifted a voucher upon arrival that can be used toward any of the restaurant’s menu items. Besides Shay, there are a variety of nearby restaurants, including Yoshi's Sushi, Big Al’s Island Burger, and Bugaloo’s, which serves island cuisine. There are also several smaller eateries with breakfast and lunch dishes, including Lemon2Go, Beans and Leaves by Island Brew, and Le Comptoir Francais.
