Turks and Caicos Wedding & Honeymoon Resorts
The Turks and Caicos is an incredible tropical destination with a diverse collection of romantic resorts that are ideal for a wedding or honeymoon.
One of the reasons why many couples choose to honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos over other tropical luxury destinations—such as the Bahamas, Barbados, and Jamaica—is simply the quality of the gorgeous beaches. There are so many exceptional beaches and pristine uninhabited cays to explore and enjoy.
Most resorts can typically host wedding ceremonies on the beach, in an outdoor courtyard or garden setting, or indoors. While destination weddings in the islands tend to be mid-sized celebrations, a few Turks and Caicos resorts can host large weddings of up to 200 guests. See Turks and Caicos Wedding Venues for information on possible ceremony and reception locations, from luxury villas to beautiful beaches.

Point Grace
The elegant Point Grace resort is located on a quiet yet centrally located stretch of Grace Bay Beach. This picturesque and romantic retreat offers a classic Caribbean resort atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts.
Point Grace features 28 rooms and penthouses, two restaurants, and a spa. Keeping with its graceful image, the resort maintains a classic 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud car for VIP transport.
The resort offers wedding and honeymoon packages, and can help plan your special day.
Resort Qualities
Good: Point Grace is an elegant and beautiful property located on a section of Grace Bay that is a bit more secluded than most other stretches. There's excellent dining onsite at Grace's Cottage and Hutchings Restaurant.
Shortcomings: The eastern side of the sandy peninsula at Point Grace can get a bit rough at times, as it’s a bit more exposed to the wind than most other sections of the beach. Due to the restriction between the barrier reef and the point, boat traffic can come annoyingly close to shore.
The Shore Club
The Shore Club resort on the turquoise waters of Long Bay Beach on Providenciales offers beautiful rooms and villas, several dining and bar options, a spa, a few great event venues, and four beautiful pools.
The Shore Club is part of the Hartling Group of resorts, which is represented by an extensive local professional team that includes event planners and a full range of catering, butler, and florist support.
Resort Qualities
Good: The Shore Club combines a beautiful ambiance and beach setting with great service. It is a well-rounded property.
Shortcomings: Long Bay Beach (the beach fronting the Shore Club) can get hectic and noisy at times, as it’s a popular location for jet ski rentals, kiteboarding, and horseback riding. The resort has an exclusion zone for swimmers, yet laws pertaining to water sports and vessel usage in the Turks and Caicos are rarely enforced.
Amanyara
The exclusive and luxurious Amanyara looks out onto the remote and highly scenic Northwest Point Marine National Park on the west coast of Providenciales.
This resort is part of the international Aman group, and Amanyara keeps with its theme of offering luxurious low-key atmospheres that foster well-being. Onsite are restaurants, a spa, and great outdoor amenities, completed by a serene natural ambiance.
The professional team at Amanyara can help plan your wedding or bespoke event.
Resort Qualities
Good: Cost aside, Amanyara offers superior seclusion, an exquisite wild setting, excellent service, and exceptional dining.
Shortcomings: Amanyara is about a 30-minute unpleasant ride through central Providenciales and is far from nearly everything else on the island, including the airport and all popular restaurants. After periods of heavy rain, the sheltered west coast of the island can have mosquito issues.
Grace Bay Club
Grace Bay Club is one of the oldest luxury resorts in the Turks and Caicos. This exquisite resort has expanded from the original boutique hotel to a collection of three resort enclaves, three restaurants, two bars, a spa, and several pools.
Wedding packages can accommodate celebrations of 2 to 120 people, and the resort’s event planners can help arrange every aspect of the day.
Resort Qualities
Good: The beach fronting Grace Bay Club is incredible and often one of the calmest sections of the coast. Many restaurants, shops, and bars are within walking distance.
Shortcomings: Unfortunately, the beach at Grace Bay Club also has a higher density of resorts than many other spots, so the area can get crowded and a bit noisy at times.
Seven Stars
The eye-catching Seven Stars Resort is located on a central and prime stretch of Grace Bay Beach. This 115-room elegant hotel features an amazing pool, three restaurants, and a full complement of things to do.
Seven Stars coordinates custom wedding packages that may include everything from catering and beverages to helping with licenses and officiation.
Resort Qualities
Good: Seven Stars is on a beautiful and calm section of Grace Bay Beach and has a beautiful pool, excellent onsite dining, and plenty of shopping and dining nearby.
Shortcomings: As is the case with Grace Bay Club, the beach and surrounding area is busier and less tranquil than many other locations.
Parrot Cay Resort
The exclusive COMO Parrot Cay Resort, located on the private island of Parrot Cay, is another beautiful location for a wedding. In fact, the island has hosted several celebrity weddings.
Parrot Cay has long been a retreat for the rich and famous, starting with Count and Countess Czernin in the 1950s. Like its neighboring cays, Parrot Cay boasts a spectacular beach on its north coast.
Parrot Cay resort amenities include a spa, yoga retreat, two gourmet restaurants, and a great collection of water sports equipment. The resort is accustomed to catering and producing fine dining experiences for events ranging from large weddings to romantic couple’s dinners on the beach.
Resort Qualities
Good: The COMO Parrot Cay Resort is private, secluded, and intimate, with an excellent beach and a high level of service.
Shortcomings: Parrot Cay and the nearby islands of North Caicos and Pine Cay can have mosquito and biting midge problems at times. The resort makes efforts to mitigate the issue, which can improve the situation. Activities and charters are largely limited to what the resort offers.
The Pine Cay Resort
The exquisitely situated Pine Cay Resort is often overlooked, largely due to its remote location on the private island of Pine Cay. This small yet select resort stands on one of the finest stretches of beach in the Turks and Caicos, with perfect white sand, calm turquoise water, and absolutely no crowds.
The Pine Cay Resort’s beach is truly special. The sandbar systems near Fort George Cay are off the northeastern side of the island. To the west, Pine Cay is connected by a continuous beach to Water Cay, Half Moon Bay, and Little Water Cay.
Pine Cay is a quick hop by boat from Providenciales, and the Hemingwayesque atmosphere of life on the island is something that’s now quite rare globally.
Accommodation options on the island include the small luxury resort itself and the many quaint vacation rentals dotted around the cay.
The resort can help arrange all aspects of a wedding, from catering to the ceremony and photography.
Resort Qualities
Good: The Pine Cay Resort offers a romantic and intimate setting on one of the finest stretches of continuous beach in the Turks and Caicos.
Shortcomings: Dining is limited to the single resort restaurant. Activities and charters are limited to those provided by the resort or private excursions arranged from Providenciales. There may be mosquitoes after heavy rain.
The Palms
The Palms on Grace Bay Beach is another picturesque wedding venue with a wonderful beach location and beautiful resort grounds.
The Palms is well-versed in hosting events, with professional staff, a great range of indoor and outdoor venues, gourmet dining and catering options, and access to a full complement of support services (such as photographers, designers, and florists) offered.
Resort Qualities
Good: The grounds of the resort are elegant and full of excellent aesthetic photography backgrounds and Instagram locations.
Shortcomings: The Palms is located on a rather built-up section of Grace Bay, which can get busy. The selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance is limited.
Beaches Turks and Caicos
The expansive Beaches Turks and Caicos all-inclusive resort can be a great wedding option when families and kids are attending. The resort features an incredible selection of things to do and dining options.
Beaches Turks and Caicos is part of the international Sandals resort group, which is certainly no newcomer to creating amazing Caribbean weddings and honeymoons, and offers a full complement of packages for wedding and vow renewals. The resort has many options, to allow the bride and groom to carefully tailor the décor, dining, music, ceremony, and guest activities of their wedding in the Turks and Caicos.
Resort Qualities
Good: Beaches offers several complete wedding and honeymoon packages, which takes all of the stress out of planning. The resort offers by far the widest selection of onsite dining and activities of any accommodation in the Turks and Caicos.
Shortcomings: Beaches Turks and Caicos and the coast fronting the resort is one of the most crowded areas on the island. Nearly all other resorts will offer better seclusion and tranquility. Stays at the resorts have a very high upfront cost, and those that want a simple vacation may be able to find a perfect alternative for far less. However, the resort can be a decent value for those that take advantage of the wealth of activities, and bottomless dining and drinks.
Luxury Vacation Villas
Another option for a destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos is one of our larger luxury villa rentals. There’s a great collection of beachfront options to choose from, including smaller and secluded rentals, to expansive 10-bedroom mansions, which can cater to large families, or groups of friends.
Villas can be a good choice for those wanting to get more involved in the planning and overseeing of all details of their event. The local professional wedding planners are also happy to work at vacation rentals as well.
The Best Things to Do and Activities
In addition to some incredible honeymoon resorts, the Turks and Caicos offers some must-do activities, most of which involve our spectacular beaches and ocean. A top thing to do is to take a boat charter or cruise, and we suggest a minimum of two: a half-day or full-day beach hopping and snorkeling adventure, and an evening sunset sail. Both private and public excursions are available, yet a private trip is recommended.
A dedicated snorkeling or scuba diving excursion is also not to be missed. Many of the cruises include some snorkeling, yet the best reefs tend to be a little further out, at locations such as West Caicos and Northwest Point. The clarity and vivid blue of the sea at these remote sites is unforgettable, and there are coastal caves and cliff jumping spots, too.
A couple’s spa or wellness treatment is another recommendation. There are several highly-rated independent spas in the Turks and Caicos, yet inquire with your resort or hotel when you book, as there may be inclusions.
Day trips to our quiet and friendly outer islands are also not to be missed. Fun and interesting choices include North Caicos and Middle Caicos, which are a scenic 30-minute ferry ride away, and South Caicos, Salt Cay, and Grand Turk, which are short plane hops away. All four destinations offer a unique and beautiful experience. North and Middle Caicos are a nature lover’s paradise, South Caicos is laid-back with wild landscapes and a quaint fishing culture, and Salt Cay and Grand Turk feature interesting historical elements.
