Turks and Caicos Italian Restaurants
One of the most popular cuisines in the world, authentic Italian is something you’ll have no problem finding on Providenciales. The pasta dishes and seafood that Italian cuisine is known for are a delicious complement to many island flavors. Whether you crave calamari or spaghetti bolognese, you’ll find a number of fresh, authentic Italian restaurants to choose from on the island—and some with a Caribbean twist.
Upscale Italian Dining
At the Ritz-Carlton on Grace Bay, you’ll find Casa Nonna. Reservations are required at this Italian restaurant, as is non-beach attire. Casa Nonna offers an authentic Italian experience with a variety of wines and house-made pastas on offer. You can order meals family style or à la carte in an elegant setting.
For a more intimate experience, try Baci Ristorante. This restaurant is found right on the water in Turtle Cove Marina and is adorned with lights, making it a cozy spot for celebrating any occasion. Their extensive menu features all the typical Italian options, like pizzas and fettuccine Alfredo, but also offers an extensive antipasti menu, a personalized pizza selection, and several veal dishes. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine menu, with most wines imported from Italy.
Featured Dishes from Local Restaurants
No proper Italian menu lacks pasta. From spaghetti carbonara to seafood linguine and mushroom ravioli, all the typical—and not-so-typical—pasta dishes can be found on the island.
Lupo, located in the Regent Village, offers authentic Italian cuisine in a charming Italy-inspired setting. A small restaurant with sidewalk seating, Lupo is manned by chefs whose creations are distinct and delicious. Steak and fish are on the menu among the endless pastas, including linguine, pappardelle, and orecchiette.
When it comes to pizza and pasta, you’ll have many different eateries to choose from on Providenciales. A casual takeout dinner option you can enjoy from the comfort of your couch is pizza or pasta from the Graceway Gourmet supermarket in Grace Bay.
Pizza
Providenciales has several great pizza restaurants that specialize in the Italian favorite, served beneath string lights or delivered right to your door—just like at home. For truly authentic Italian pizza and other dishes, stop by Bella Luna restaurant and pizzeria, conveniently located on Grace Bay Road.
Italian-owned and operated, Bella Luna offers a varied pizza menu that ranges from the Calabrese (with salami and eggplant) to the Contadina (topped with blue cheese, figs, and walnuts). The pizza here is always made fresh and served straight out of the oven—just like their extensive pasta menu.
The ambiance is wonderful, too. Bella Luna's outdoor pizza garden is located beneath a cover of twinkling lights and palm fronds. Meanwhile, the upstairs restaurant offers a more formal, gourmet dining space.
Pizza Pizza and Baci both serve classic large pizzas. Many other restaurants offer smaller pies and flatbread pizzas, including Vita Restaurant, Almond Tree at the Shore Club, Lupo, Bob's Bar, and Shay Café.
