Turks and Caicos Nightlife
Providenciales
Discover the Scene
Nightlife in Turks and Caicos is a quieter and more laid-back affair than it is in popular party destinations like Mexico and the Dominican Republic. That being said, there's still something to do any given night of the week on the main island of Providenciales, from nightclubs with DJs to beach BBQs, sunset cruises, live music, and junkanoo parades.
Most of the action happens in Grace Bay, where the majority of the country's resorts and tourism businesses are found.
Nightclubs and Bars

Stingrays Social
This 12,000-square-foot (1,115 m²) sports bar is the largest nightlife establishment in the country, with two bars, a kids arcade, simulator sports, pool tables, a bowling alley, and tons of screens for watching sports games.
Stingrays Social is within walking distance of many Grace Bay resorts and bars and hosts parties and concerts throughout the year.

Castaways
There's almost always a live music performance happening at Castaways. This open-air restaurant is located in a picturesque coconut grove and is the best place to see many of the country's great local bands and entertainers.
You can also try some of the local cuisine, like cracked conch, grilled lobster, and conch fritters at this spot.

Cielo
Cielo is a Miami-style nightclub that usually has a DJ playing a mix of electronic, R&B, and Caribbean music. It's a popular club on holidays like New Year's Eve and Halloween and is one of the best places to go to dance.
There's usually no cover fee to enter. Cielo also typically hosts the opening party for the Caribbean House Evolution Music Festival.

Danny Buoy's
One of the oldest still-operating nightlife spots on Provo, Danny Buoy's is the place to go for themed parties throughout the year and for karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday.
The bar also screens watch parties for major sports games (football, basketball, hockey, and more) and costume parties for Halloween and St. Patrick's Day.

The Taproom
You can try local Turk's Head Beer and a long list of artfully crafted cocktails at The Taproom most nights of the week. This modern bar is located at the Turk's Head Brewery.
The Taproom puts on special events throughout the year with a live DJ. On any given night, it's a popular place for sunset drinks and grabbing one of their tasty brick-oven pizzas.
Events and Parties
Many of the events here take advantage of the year-round beautiful weather and take place outdoors (sometimes right on the beach). The biggest parties include the Caribbean House Evolution Festival on Water Cay, the annual In the Pink charity event, and the Maskanoo parade on Boxing Day.
Throughout the month, you can find smaller events like cocktail parties, pub quizzes, DJ parties, karaoke, and sunset party cruises.

The Fish Fry
This free event happens in The Bight area near Grace Bay every Thursday. Head to the Fish Fry to try the local cuisine, shop local souvenirs, and enjoy live performances and a junkanoo parade.
The Fish Fry is open to all ages and usually starts at around 6:00 PM.
Beach BBQs
Each month, a few of the resorts host sunset beach BBQs with an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet and live entertainment right on Grace Bay.
The Barbetta House BBQ is the best event for families as it offers kid-friendly entertainment and a fire dancer.
If you're looking for a more personal experience, many hotels can set up a private dining experience on the shoreline.

Live Music
Turks and Caicos is home to many talented musicians spanning an ocean of genres. Singers, reggae bands, saxophonists, and numerous musical groups and entertainers have weekly shows across Providenciales.
While large concerts aren't a common part of nightlife here, the country occasionally sees international acts (primarily Caribbean artists).

Pub Crawls
A fun and convenient way to try the top nightlife spots is on a pub crawl tour.
Pub crawls typically visit 3–4 great local bars and include a drink at each stop. Join a public tour or book a private crawl and choose your own stops. The minimum drinking age is 18.
Roll the Dice
Gambling is legal in the islands, and there are two main casinos: The Casino at the Ritz-Carlton and Casablanca Casino.
The Casino at the Ritz-Carlton is the newest and offers 5,500 square feet (511 m²) of table games with live dealers, slot machines, and roulette. Casablanca Casino has been around for decades and has various games to try.
The minimum age for gambling is 21.

Floating Bars
While they're only open during daylight hours, there are two floating bars located in the shallow turquoise waters off Providenciales. You can get to them via water taxi, jet ski, or boat. Several boat tour companies include a stop at one of these bars on tours.
What makes these bars special is the amazing water in which they're located—cool off in crystal-clear ocean, enjoy a tropical cocktail, and kick back and relax.
Find a BarResort Nightlife
Many resorts host their own nightlife events for guests, from culture shows and junkanoo parades to island BBQs. Ask your resort for a calendar of upcoming events when you book.
If you're staying at a villa or smaller hotel, you can still enjoy the nightlife of one of the large all-inclusive resorts, if only for a day. The adults-only Club Med Turkoise and family friendly Beaches Turks & Caicos both sell evening resort passes that grant you access to the amenities and clubs for a night. Catch a show, head to a dance club, and enjoy all-inclusive drinks at a special rate.
