Located in central Providenciales, The Taproom is a laid-back brew pub and restaurant where you can enjoy the best locally brewed beer on the island. From its spacious location within the Turk's Head Brewery—the country's only full-scale brewery—this establishment promises friendly staff, excellent craft beer on tap, and some of the island’s best Neapolitan pizza.

Part of the charm of The Taproom is simply getting there. Guests access the restaurant by walking through the brewery and along its catwalk—over the stainless-steel fermenters and the canning line—before stepping into a cozy air-conditioned space that feels like a modern Caribbean speakeasy.

The brewery bistro's relaxed and welcoming environment draws a mix of residents, expats, and visitors who come to the brewery for a laid-back lunch or a guided tour. It features an indoor area with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook its packing operations and a large modern terrace.

Beers on Tap

The Taproom is the best place to experience the craftsmanship and products of the Turk’s Head Brewery, which began formal operations in 2001. The brewery produces five signature beers—I-Ain-Ga-Lie, I-Soon-Reach, Down-Da-Road, Gon-Ta-Nort, and Gon-Ta-Sout—that guests can find at resorts and restaurants across the island (though sampling them at the source is undoubtedly more fun). At The Taproom, you can also try their craft beers and seasonal brews, some of which are served exclusively at the brewery.

Brewery Tours

It's easy to add on a facility tour to lunch at The Taproom. The brewery offers tours at 12 PM Monday through Saturday, which include a guided walk across the catwalk, an inside look at the brewing and bottling process, and a tasting flight served at The Taproom. Tours are family-friendly, and the restaurant offers a full selection of non-alcoholic beverages for younger guests.

Food and Menu

Purple cocktail with an edible bubble.
As well as serving beer, The Taproom has a long list of cocktails in its repertoire.

The Taproom's menu has something for everyone on it, but the highlight is without question the Neapolitan-style pizza, baked in a beautiful brick oven on its terrace. Must-try pizzas include the funghi parmesan, spicy soppressata, and the sweet heat bacon.

The menu also features sandwiches, salads, tacos, wings, quesadillas, and house-made ice cream.

Lunch is the best time to visit, especially if you plan to pair your meal with a brewery tour. Reservations aren't usually required. The Taproom tends to get quite popular around 6 PM, so it's best to get there early if you plan to have dinner.

Getting There

The brewery is conveniently located for guests staying in Chalk Sound or on Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay, and is about a 15-minute drive from the resorts in Grace Bay. It’s also close to Providenciales International Airport (PLS), making it a perfect “flight before your flight” stop for one last tasting before departure.

Located at Turk's Head Brewery

Turk’s Head Brewery is the country’s only brewery, and interesting guided tours are available. The onsite tap and tasting room offers a great range of exclusive and unique specials, which at times may include ciders, stouts, porters, sours, ales, and more.
