Al's Rent A Car

Al’s Rent a Car is one of the main car rental companies on North Caicos. They offer car, van, SUV, and 4x4 rentals. Car rental pickup from the ferry port at Bellefield Landing is included.

In 2019, Al’s Rent a Car merged with two other North Caicos rental companies: Pelican Car Rentals and Nick’s Rent a Car, which were the two main other agencies on the island.

Rental Policies

Drivers must be at least 25 years old to rent a car and hold a valid driver's license. A valid credit card is also required to rent a vehicle.

Customers must return cars at the same fuel level as when picked up, or they will be charged for fuel and a surcharge.

Economy class cars start at $75 per day (2025 price), once all taxes and non-optional fees are included.

Driving Tips

Exercise caution when driving on unsurfaced roads. Some roads on North and Middle Caicos are not paved, and cars can easily become stuck in sandy roads (such as at Three Marys Cays and Wild Cow Run). Make sure you have a working cell phone and plenty of water in case you get stuck, as some areas are several miles from a local settlement.

Located in Major Hill

Major Hill is a village found on the northeastern side of North Caicos, and between Whitby and Bottle Creek. The island’s airport is found here, along with several small shops and businesses.
