Discover Shopping on South Caicos
South Caicos isn't a major tourist destination, and as such, has little in the way of tourist souvenir shopping.
There are numerous local convenience and grocery stores on the island, mostly in the Cockburn Harbour area.
If you’re planning on spending more than a day here, you may want to buy any specialized products from Providenciales. There’s no problem finding groceries, but the selection can be a bit limited beyond that.
Groceries
There are two small supermarkets selling groceries in Cockburn Harbour: Seaview Supermarket & Rentals and Johnny's Grocery. If you’ll be on South Caicos for a longer trip, they can special-order products from Providenciales for you.
Seafood
Caicos Seafood is located in Cockburn Harbour and is a small factory that processes the fish, conch, and lobster brought in by local fishermen. All of the products processed at Caicos Seafood are gathered by low-impact methods: fish are caught by hand with hook and line, lobster with small traps or by hand, and conch with a snorkel mask. Nets, long-line fishing, and the use of scuba gear for collecting conch and lobster are illegal in the Turks and Caicos.
Souvenirs and Gifts
There are a few gift sellers and shops around Cockburn Town, along with a gift shop at Sailrock Resort.
