The Beach and Smith’s Reef
Smith’s Reef is a beach and snorkeling site located in the Turtle Cove area. The reef system is quite complex, and is perhaps the best beach snorkeling location on the island. The different sections of reefs vary quite a bit with some coral heads being found right off the beach, and more extensive bay reefs a bit further offshore. To the east of Smith’s Reef is the beautiful Bight Beach, and after that, Grace Bay Beach.
The beach in the area has soft white sand. As the coast rounds the northern most points as it approaches the inlet into Turtle Cove Marina, sections of low limestone rock line the water’s edge.

Location
Turtle Cove is located on the central north coast of the island, and within easy access of much of the island’s shopping and dining. Close to the villa is Turtle Cove Marina, which is home to several restaurants. The ‘strip’ of Grace Bay is less than an 8-minute drive away, and the airport is about 10 minutes away. The Graceway IGA supermarket, the largest on the island, is about a 3-minute drive.
Some great restaurants, including Baci Ristorante, Sharkbite Bar and Grill, Mango Reef, and Simone's Bar and Grill are a short distance from Beach Villa Sandstone.
