Alexandra Resort is a great choice for those that want an all-inclusive stay, yet don't want the laid-back atmosphere of the adult-only Club Med, or the busy and expansive Beaches resort, which primarily caters to families. Stays at this resort include access and transport to the sister property of Blue Haven Resort, which has a different setting for activities, as well as more restaurants to try.
4-star rating for Alexandra Resort by Visit Turks and Caicos Islands
Alexandra Resort in the Turk and Caicos
The Alexandra Resort on the beautiful Grace Bay Beach.

Alexandra Resort is a popular all-inclusive Grace Bay resort. The resort is centrally located on Grace Bay Beach and offers understated luxury with a delightful Caribbean atmosphere.

The spacious accommodations include studios, 1, 2, and 4-bedroom suites, with stunning ocean views for the best sunsets. The main onsite restaurant, Asú on the Beach, offers gourmet international beachfront dining. There is also Dragon Orchid Sushi and Black Rock Grill on the property.

There are many onsite amenities to keep the entire family having fun, such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, beach volleyball, ping pong, a large free-form swimming pool, bicycles to explore the island, a fitness room, and the Elevate Spa.

By booking your Caribbean vacation at this resort, you’ll undoubtedly leave wanting to return.

All-Inclusive

This resort is one of the few all-inclusive hotels on Grace Bay Beach. The other all-inclusive options are Club Med Turkoise, which has a low budget and party atmosphere, and Beaches Turks & Caicos, which caters to families and children, so this property can be the best choice for couples and those simply seeking a nice hotel.

All-inclusive stays at the Alexandra include access to the other counterpart Providenciales Turks and Caicos Collection hotel, Blue Haven Resort, and include all meals, unlimited drinks and snacks, complimentary transport between either property, as well as the use of bicycles, kayaks, paddleboards, and other water sports equipment.

Restaurants and Dining

The resort is home to a wide range of dining options. Solé features al fresco dining overlooking Grace Bay.

Asú is poolside with a more casual atmosphere and buffet dining. There’s both indoor and al fresco seating.

Laid-back dining options include Pizzaluka, that serves pizza and paninis, Fish Deck, and Jerky’s, which is on the beach and offers jerk and Caribbean dishes.

The bars at the Alexandra include the Rumba Beach Bar on the beach, a swim-up bar at the pool, the Coconut Bar, and the Smoothie Bar.

The Turks and Caicos Collection

One interesting advantage of staying at this property is that guests are welcome to take advantage of the amenities and dining at Blue Haven Resort, which is located on the eastern side of Providenciales at the Leeward community, near the wetland nature reserve of Mangrove Cay.

Complimentary and convenient transport between sister resorts is provided for guests.

Blue Haven Resort

Blue Haven Resort is located on Leeward Channel in the upscale Leeward community, and within easy access to the exquisite wetlands of the Princess Alexandra Nature Reserve, which includes Mangrove Cay and Donna Cay.

Onsite at Blue Haven are three restaurants: the gourmet Fire and Ice, Salt Bar & Grill, which offers Italian cuisine and pizza, and Jammin’ By the Sea, a waterside grill which serves local and Caribbean dishes. There’s also The Market, a small grocery store and deli.

For guests visiting from the Alexandra Resort, a great activity is to use Blue Haven’s kayaks or paddleboards to tour Mangrove Cay, where it’s possible to see lush mangrove estuaries, turtles, stingrays, baby sharks, conch, starfish, birdlife, and Turks and Caicos Islands Rock Iguanas. Proficient paddlers may also be able to visit Half Moon Bay, which is one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the islands.

Grace Bay Beach

Like all of the famous coast, the section of Grace Bay fronting this resort is incredible. Alexandra is located west of Forbes Point (the slightly defined peninsula where Point Grace Resort stands), so the water fronting the resort is more sheltered from the typical east-southeast trade winds, and consequently tends to be calmer than at other locations on Grace Bay.

The resort density near the Alexandra is rather high, so the beach in the area is one of the most crowded sections of the coast.
