Parrotice Ice Cream & Sno

Parrotice Ice Cream & Sno is a North Caicos ice cream shop that serves homemade ice cream as well as milkshakes, snow cones, smoothies, and other sweet treats. The shop is conveniently located on the main road, Kings Highway, on North Caicos and is open daily.

There's a nice outdoor shaded area with seating tucked among swaying palms, as well as a kids playground with a slide and seesaw. You can connect to free Wi-Fi at Parrotice if you need to browse the web or download a map for getting around North and Middle Caicos.

Ice Cream

Parrotice's ice cream is homemade and prepared onsite daily. The shop offers eight ice cream flavors, including their best-selling coconut ice cream and a rum raisin ice cream made with the local Bambarra rum.

In addition to fresh ice cream, Parrotice sells snow cones, smoothies, floats, and milkshakes, as well as savory food items like tacos, hot dogs, and fries. If you aren't in the mood for ice cream, you can order a cold soda, lemonade, water, or iced coffee.

Getting There

You'll need to rent a car to visit, as Parrotice isn't within walking distance of the Providenciales—North Caicos ferry terminal at Bellefield Landing (it's about a 19-minute drive away).

Given that Parrotice is located on the main road that runs through North Caicos, it's a convenient stop if you're on your way to Middle Caicos for an overnight stay or day trip.

Mudjin Harbour is approximately 20 minutes away by car, and Bambarra Beach is about 40 minutes away.

Located in Major Hill

Major Hill is a village found on the northeastern side of North Caicos, and between Whitby and Bottle Creek. The island’s airport is found here, along with several small shops and businesses.
