Gifts and Souvenirs

While there are only a few gift shops on these islands, what you’ll typically find for sale is almost entirely authentic and handmade Turks and Caicos goods.
Found in the small settlement of Kew, the office for the Turks and Caicos National Trust carries a selection of hand-woven items and art.
A small gift shop at Flamingo Pond Overlook stocks mugs, crafts, and various other items and rents binoculars for spotting flamingos in the pond.
The Middle Caicos Co-op on North Caicos is one of the best shops in the country for true Turks and Caicos gifts. Everything you’ll find there is locally handmade (and nearly entirely from natural materials). The shop specializes in hand-woven straw work crafts such as baskets, bowls, hats, placemats, coasters, fans, and bags. They also sell model sailboats, paintings, dolls, conch shell art, and books by local authors.
The co-op was previously based on Middle Caicos in Conch Bar, but is now located in the village of Major Hill on North Caicos at My Dee's Plaza.
