The Turks and Caicos is a small British Overseas Territory, and as such, there are no foreign embassies in the country. The United States, Canada, Jamaica, and Haiti have limited diplomatic representation in the Turks and Caicos Islands, with consulate offices on the island of Providenciales.

The consulates for Jamaica and Haiti provide many consular services, including some passport services.

British Nationals

As a British Overseas Territory, there is no form of representation for the United Kingdom. Inquiries should be directed to the Governor’s Office or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK for guidance.

United States Nationals

Previously, there was a U.S. consular agency located in Grace Bay, but this has since closed.

The U.S. Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas has jurisdiction over the Turks and Caicos, and all inquiries should be directed there.

Canadian Nationals

The Canadian consulate on Providenciales is located in the Caribbean Place plaza near the airport. The consulate provides services to Canadians visiting and living in the Turks and Caicos (with the exception of visa or immigration services).

Other Nationalities

There are consulates for the Republic of Haiti and Jamaica on Providenciales.

Previously, there was an Honorary Consulate for Germany located in Grace Bay, however, it closed down.

For other nationalities, representation is normally handled through embassies in Kingston, Jamaica, or Nassau, the Bahamas. British Citizens requiring assistance are advised to contact the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the United Kingdom.
