CBMS is the largest concrete supplier in the Turks and Caicos.

CBMS is the largest supplier of concrete, cement, aggregates, and sand in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Founded in 1992, CBMS stands for Caribbean Building Materials and Services, and has been a partner of the luxury construction and real estate market in the islands ever since. The company’s main base of operations is on South Dock Road on the island of Providenciales. Services and supplies are offered to other islands in the Turks and Caicos upon special and prior arrangement.

Concrete

CBMS’s primary business is concrete, and the company operates a large fleet of ready mix and mix on-site concrete trucks, which can cater to the full range of construction jobs in the Turks and Caicos. Different PSI ratings can be supplied according to the job, likewise with a range of additives for high performance and special applications (such as additives to support concrete durability for underwater use, such as in piers and marinas).

The lab at CBMS offers a range of concrete testing and analysis, and some mobile services are also offered.

CBMS is the largest importer of concrete blocks and aggregate blocks in the Turks and Caicos, and typically imports full barge loads from the Dominican Republic.

CBMS is a major importer and supplier of earthworks including sand, gravel, rock, and boulders (primarily for the construction of jetties and coastal engineering projects).

Heavy earthworks are imported via CBMS’s own barges and tugs, resulting in competitive prices and unique material availability.

Earthwork and Heavy Equipment Rental

CBMS maintains a wide fleet of heavy equipment, and provides rentals (with skilled operators). Equipment includes backhoes, front-end articulated loaders, dump trucks, heavy equipment trailers and tractors, bulldozers, excavators, road graders, site light trees, mobile generators, heavy-duty soil and material screeners, and cranes.

South Dock Road is a region that connects the Downtown and airport area to Five Cays and South Dock. Much of this road and adjacent land supports industrial sites, yet the southwestern section is home to residences and some accesses to the beautiful Chalk Sound lagoon.
