Cheshire Hall Medical Centre
Hospital Road, ProvidencialesThe Cheshire Hall Medical Centre is a 20-bed hospital located in central Providenciales. The facility is managed by Canadian firm InterHealth Canada and accredited by Accreditation Canada International, and is the primary hospital in the Turks and Caicos. The site is accessed via the short Hospital Road off of Leeward Highway, near the Downtown region of the island. The site has ample onsite parking for those visiting.
The hospital was built in 2010 along with the Cockburn Town Medical Centre on Grand Turk, which is a smaller hospital. The Cheshire Hall Medical Centre has operating theaters, CT and MRI scanners, dialysis centers, maternity services, as well as other departments. Over 30 doctors are employed between the two hospitals, and specialists regularly visit from outside the Turks and Caicos.
At this time, the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre is not providing dialysis for tourists of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
